U.M.I. Racing
UMI Racing started in 1987 in Scottsdale, Arizona
primarily as a CNC machine shop. Our first products were
watercraft billet machined steering systems along with
other aftermarket handling components. These parts are
still used by the top watercraft racers and freestyle
riders in the world, as well as a number of OEM's. UMI has
dominated the personal watercraft market for the last ten
years with our unsurpassed quality and service. UMI also
manufactures a complete line of Harley-Davidson aftermarket
foot controls and billet accessories which are used by the
top Harley aftermarket builders. UMI also manufactures a
line of aftermarket sport ATV parts for most major
brands. Over the last two years UMI has been developing an
off-road motor package utilizing the General Motors Vortec
LS-1, LS-6, and 6.0 liter Generation 3 motors. These
motors have taken Mark Miller racing to two consecutive
Baja 500 victories in the trophy truck class, a 2003 Baja
1000 first place trophy truck and a second place overall.
UMI exclusively uses the Delphi System 4 engine management
systems. These motors are an excellent choice for all V-8
off-road vehicles ranging from 365 to 500 horse power.
UMI's state of the art CNC machine shop utilizes the
latest in high speed machining technology with both
vertical and horizontal machining centers. Our machine
shop is supported by the latest CAD/CAM software.
